Other Payment Options

Alternatives to Credit Card Payments

Although the CoinBidders.com web site was originally designed to accept credit card payments only, as a service to our customers and also to increase sales, we have modified our site to accept other forms of payment as well. For any coins listed on our "Browse" pages, you may choose any of the following payment methods in addition to credit card payments:

a) Postal Money Order
b) Certified Bank Check

c) Personal Check (Personal checks are accepted but discouraged, because it can take several days for us to confirm the funds, which ties up the coin longer and delays shipment to you. If this is the only option available to you, we will gladly accept your personal check if you can live with the resulting delay.)

d) Bank Wire (You will be responsible for all related fees, whether charged by your bank our ours. Please call us at 615.832.9904 for our bank's wiring instructions if you wish to use this payment method.)

   Be sure to include the applicable Shipping Charges when you send your payment.

Your total remittance should be the "Buy It Now" price + Shipping Costs (from the chart)

When you press the button (available to registered members only, and you must be logged into your account to see this button on the "Browse" pages), an e-mail will automatically be sent to both CoinBidders.com and the selling dealer, to let us know that you are reserving a coin and will be sending payment through the mail. We will "Hide" the coin on our web site for seven calendar days, making it invisible to our other customers while we wait for your payment to arrive. If your payment is not received within that time period, the coin will be placed "back on the market" with no guarantee of continued availability. Please do not reserve a coin unless you are sending payment immediately! Abuse of this service may result in the removal of your account.
Once we have received your payment and verified the funds, the selling dealer will be notified to ship your coin immediately.
