Making An Offer

Making an offer is simple!

First, log into CoinBidders.com (or register if you are not already a member). Once you are logged in, click "Browse and Buy Coins!" which will present you with a list of all available coins in our current inventory.

Click on the inventory number of a coin, and the system will take you to the "Offer to Purchase" page, which is where you can make your offer ~ OR ~ simply click on the camera icon () to view a photo of the coin (if a photo is available for that coin).

Clicking the camera icon on the screen above will allow you to view the photos (below):

Once you have viewed the photos of the coin, just press the "Back" button on your browser to return to the "Offer to Purchase" page where you can make your offer, or press the "Back" button again (or choose the appropriate link) to return to the "Browse & Buy Coins" page to continue browsing.

To make an offer, enter your credit card information and your offer price on the "Offer to Purchase" page, and follow the instructions on the pages that follow. Remember that although shipping charges are automatically added to your offer price and will be billed to your credit card if your offer is acceptable, those shipping charges can and will be refunded to you if you notify the selling dealer (immediately upon sale confirmation) that you wish to pick up your coin in person (such as at a coin show, at the dealer's store, etc.). In those cases, the shipping charges will be refunded to you by your selling dealer at the time your coin is delivered to you. (See our "Site Policies" page for more information.)

If your offer price is acceptable, you will be notified immediately that the sale has been made. If your offer is not acceptable, you will be notified that your offer amount was insufficient but you will be given an opportunity to enter a new offer amount without having to re-enter your credit card information. You may repeat that process as many times as you like, or until your offer amount is sufficient to purchase the coin.
